SEPTA - Pre-Proposal Opportunity: North Broad Street Line ADA Improvement!

Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) is soliciting proposals from qualified agencies for the North Broad Street Line ADA Improvement project. The qualified consultants shall be able to provide services that include design and engineering consultant services to the EMC Transit Facilities and Engineering for ADA station improvements (Logan, Wyoming and Hunting Park Stations) along the North Broad Street Line. The overall objective is to make the stations fully ADA accessible. The project will also include installation of elevators, and accessibility improvements, renovation of existing platforms and station interior, new signage, lighting and security cameras and waterproofing of the stations.

The RFP documents include Proposers Instructions, Agreement, Scope of Services, and any associated attachments. CAUTION: Subsequent correspondence and follow-up documentation concerning this Request for Proposal No. 22-00200-AKLM will only be sent to consultants who have submitted written requests (via email) for the proposal documents. It is the consultant’s responsibility to assure that it has all the necessary correspondence and documents from SEPTA to properly prepare its proposal.

 

Each proposal shall be submitted in two (2) separate parts, enclosed in two (2) separate packages, and identified as Technical Proposal and Cost Proposal. Cost proposals will not be opened until the technical evaluation is completed.

 

A Pre-Proposal Meeting will be held on Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at 2:30PM. A representative of your company is encouraged to join to discuss the proposed work with representatives of SEPTA, but attendance is not mandatory.

All questions must be received no later than 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, December 28, 2022. The answers to all questions submitted will be issued as an addendum to the project.

 

 One (1) copies of the Technical Proposal including a PDF copy on a thumb drive and One (1) copies of the Cost Proposal are to be submitted to SEPTA, by 1:00 P.M. on Friday, January 6, 2023.
