Honeysuckle, a client of our Center for Culinary Enterprises, was recently awarded $150,000 in funding from The Enterprise Center Capital Corporation to grow the business and continue their wonderful work.

Founder Omar Tate, and wife and partner Cybille St. Aude-Tate launched Honeysuckle with the community in mind - aiming to bring access to fresh foods and local, fairly traded goods and ingredients to the residents of West Philadelphia. With a mission mutually emphasizing culture, nutrition, and equity, Honeysuckle is poised to provide healthy food, as well as employment opportunities, to a part of the city known to be lacking in both.

With plans to open a brick-and-mortar location soon, Omar and Cybille will be even better equipped to serve and nourish the community that Honeysuckle calls its home.
