PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A pop-up market is bringing some holiday cheer to West Philadelphia this season.

The Enterprise Center opened its first-ever Black-owned holiday pop-up market at 24 South 52nd Street, near Chestnut and Ludlow streets.

It's a combination of “department store and local market,” with more than 40 businesses participating, said Daria Williams, one of the organizers.

Items from Black businesses and creators, including jewelry, candles, art, home goods, clothing and hair and body care products, will be available for purchase until Jan. 15, 2023.
