Located at 310 S. 48th Street, The Dorrance H. Hamilton Center for Culinary Enterprises (CCE) supports both established and start-up food businesses and food processors in need of commercial kitchen space and technical assistance. The CCE boasts 5,000 square feet of commercial grade cooking facilities, including four state-of-the-art, shared-use commercial kitchens, an E-kitchen, and space for Common Table, The Enterprise Center’s restaurant incubator program. Additionally, the building houses the 48th Street Grille, a sit-down restaurant operated by former CCE client Carl Lewis. The facility also houses two walk-in refrigeration boxes, a walk-in freezer box, a dry storage room, ice machine, locked cages for storing product, small wares, a shower, and lockers.

The CCE also includes the eKitchen Multimedia Learning Center, a fully operational demonstration kitchen and smart classroom equipped with audio-visual technology. The eKitchen can accommodate receptions, cooking classes, workshops, networking and team-building events in a variety of layouts.
