Economic Development
The Enterprise Center has a variety of programs and initiatives aimed at economic development, focused mainly in West Philadelphia.
The Enterprise Center Community Development Corporation

The Enterprise Center Community Development Corporation (CDC) works closely with theĀ Walnut Hill Community Association in creating a comprehensive plan for Walnut Hill, the neighborhood between 52nd and 45th streets, from Market St. south to Spruce St. The Enterprise Center CDC works to build equitable communities that enhance Philadelphia’s urban fabric, made prosperous through the enterprise of their residents.
The Walter P. Lomax, Jr. Retail Resource Network

The Dr. Walter P. Lomax, Jr. Retail Resource Network (RRN) at The Enterprise Center seeks to accelerate the creation of new retail businesses in Philadelphia, while developing the long-term growth and sustainability of existing enterprises. The RRN helps Philadelphia retailers succeed via the following products and services: capital; technical assistance; technology; diversity training; strategy; scholarships; and certification programs.
The RRN helps potential retailers better prepare for the challenges they will face in the retail industry. The RRN works to create new jobs for Philadelphia residents via new retail establishments and to maintain existing jobs by reducing the failure rate of existing retailers.
