The Construction Center

The Construction Center at The Enterprise Center, supports minority and women-owned firms in the construction, professional services, construction management, and janitorial trades. Recognizing the importance of being involved in the conversations, The Construction Center was formed in April 2016 to provide minority firms with greater access to public and private sector projects within The City of Philadelphia. The Construction Center encourages partnerships between M/W/DBE firms.


The Construction Center hosts monthly events. Programming consists of procurement opportunities (non-union & union), industry best practices and education, access to capital, and networking. Past presenters have included PGW, The City of Philadelphia, Wells Fargo, PA Turnpike, INTECH, Rebuild Philadelphia, and local universities and developers. Become a Member

To become a member, please select the box for “The Construction Center”, when completing the Business Support application. Application is available here:

Members are required to submit documentation of awarded contracts, capital awards (loans, bonding, lines of credit), and job creation and retention numbers. All member-submitted information remains confidential.
