The Enterprise Center's Leaders About Business

In-School

Our in-school component provides students with an elective in entrepreneurship in addition to their high school coursework.  This dynamic youth entrepreneurship program serves some 450 high school students every academic year.

In addition to guiding each student through the process of completing a business plan and learning such skills as financial literacy and analytical problem solving, the curriculum is also designed to develop leadership skills and introduce students to social entrepreneurship through exposure to our urban farm.   The class culminates with a Business Plan Competition where participants present their ideas to a panel of judges, students from other schools, teachers, business professionals, and community.
